This performance is very fluid and dynamic, and I think characteristic of your playing style. There are a lot of KZbinrs putting out piano music, but to my ears, those sound mechanical and forced, technically sound, but you don't hear the intent of the composer. Here, you hear... the spirit of the piece, nostalgia, wistful remembrance. My goodness, how long have you been playing? This is good.

Of all the version I listen to on KZbin of this song, this is by far one of the best. You actually LISTEN to the emotion of the song and perform it so well. Most people on youtube perform it so mechanically without the actual emotion.

A great performance. This piece has been covered and covered. To be honest I don't have any idea of how to play this piece again. It's one of the pieces I only improvise on according to the mood. But I feel you gave a really great feeling to this piece. As DavidRussel323 said, you played it with much elegancy. Plus the Bosendorfer's sound makes it more wonderful again. Low notes that are giving me the feeling of circling the other notes. Thank you for this cover, truly one of the best I've ever heard too!

I just wanted to let you know I come back to this video every other day ever since I found it two years ago. I've learned this piece ever since despite being a beginner and it was very difficult but I did my best. Now that I have a nice piano I can try to replicate your amazing playing and every time I try to listen closely I'm just blown away by the sensitivity and dynamism of every bar. Hi Caliko, when i hear you play, i think about myself. I think about myself not playing, knowing i love these kind of songs, wanting to play them, but didnt move forward to play. Beautiful. So beautiful. When I saw the title of the video, I just knew it'll be the Makiko version. And you played it beautifully. Slower than other I saw, which I liked. You should look into playing Makiko's version of Promise of the World. I think it's his best one. Can't wait for your next song. You somehow always manage to hit my mood perfectly.
