taha BELHAMRI No thats stupid cause your body cant rest and gain strenght without a break;) splitt bodyparts ( or skills) and take at least 2 rest days a week!
@tomasazevedo19798 жыл бұрын
taha BELHAMRI you don't have to split body part if you want, you can just do 3x full body workouts per week
@jonatankills8 жыл бұрын
It depends on how often and hard you train. I prefer split my trainings in 3 days (1 rest between). I found it was ideal for me but you have to experiment yourself. Different bodies different reactions. Good luck.
@CalisthenicsWeightTraining8 жыл бұрын
You can use several set ups and structures, as long as you feel you perform well and recover enough. Around 2+-1 day(s) to recover between the moves (push and pull movements & muscle groups worked). Also depending on how intense the workouts are and your individual level & experience. You can see the video "Calisthenics Workout Routines - Full Body Guide..." on my channel, at the end of the video there are some examples of structuring workouts within a week of training.

Love your videos kris... you mention quite a bit that time and consistency play a huge part in your success. I was wondering if you implemented nutrition in your lifestyle? You are very lean and I'm would like to know how "you" got to where you are. Was it mostly hard work or a combination of exercise and nutrition?

Hey Kris! Just wanted to say that thanks to your workouts I made a huge leap in core strength. Just wanted to say thank you and share some positive vibes. If you could also shed some light on your cardio/conditioning training that'd be great! On another note, you think you can share some motivational videos as to why you do this? The other day my girlfriend said working out is a hobby (to me), but it's not; if I could skip the workouts but still have the discipline and strength that comes with it, I would lol. So why do you get up and do this every day?

Hey Chris, I was wondering how you periodize your training. Like, did you move to 3 reps from training 5s and 6 for a certain period, do you switch to higher reps for deload or can you sustain a program based on low reps with minor modifications? All I hear is 'depends on individual' but that is true in every and any case

can i use this concept for any muscle group ou specific exercise? for exemple: dips, push ups, squats, lunges and nice vid, btw. you've the one of the best fitness channel on youtube
@CalisthenicsWeightTraining8 жыл бұрын
Thanks. You can use progressive overload to any exercise/working muscles. It can also be modifications of the exercises to make it harder (one leg, one arm, body angles and so on...), or the structure of the workout it self (set/reps etc.). But yes, in terms of weight and overload you can use the principle no matter if its bench press or push ups.

I'm interested on how to make that waist wrap around to hold the tires.
@CalisthenicsWeightTraining8 жыл бұрын
the waist wrap is a home made weight belt made of climbing rope and carbiners. Then I just attach weights like any weight belt. Although here I used a secondary rope holding the tires together, which l in turn attached my belt/rope to.

Kris stupid question. But do you max out on every workout when doing splits or is it rather with high frequency training.

Do you mean max by reps or additional load? I generally go for one more heavy and intense workout for the pull, followed by some kind of variation later on same week (other variations and elements, static etc.)

Great as usual Kris one question if I may ask, what would be your best tips in how to gain a reasonable KZbin following in calisthenics?
@SpandanChatterjee29048 жыл бұрын
put up videos regularly, don't talk much in videos, but when you do, talk scientific and not shit about protein shake advertisements, be like Kris, no talk, only action AND, to make yourself popular, advise people on the comment questions on other youtubers' videos.
@CalisthenicsWeightTraining8 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I don't think it would work very well if you think too much about specifically getting a following. Like only training for results, then losing the patience. Just keep it simple and see it as a place you upload some of your training. A variety of videos that are easy to follow and probably some kind of examples of your own workouts that people can get an idea of. Some completely new ideas would be great too, try figure something out.

I have a question. Please only answer if you know 100 percent the reason why. Why do I sweat when I do cardio like jump roping but when I do pull ups or chin ups or bench press, I don't sweat. When I deadlift heavy, I sweat just a little bit
@christophertelesford75798 жыл бұрын
When your doing cardio/jump roping your constantly moving and burning calories faster than lifting weights, and I sweat when I do pull ups but only when I'm doing them fast with short breaks
@wendellebenzocampo40708 жыл бұрын
Christopher Telesford when I do pull ups, my muscles tire out very fast. On the first set, I can do about 15 good ones. I would need to rest for like 5 mins after. Then on the second set, it would be something like only 5 reps. Then 3rd set is like 2
@wendellebenzocampo40708 жыл бұрын
Christopher Telesford my muscles get tired before I start sweating. Is that bad?
@PFAlejoMarino8 жыл бұрын
Your body sweats when your corporal temperature is raising more and more. Sweat takes away those extra centigrades on your body in order to keep working right. That's why you sweat more when you do cardio rather than strenght training.
@PFAlejoMarino8 жыл бұрын
Sweat has nothing to do with your performance. So keep training and forget about sweat...

kris whenever I do weighted pull ups and any weighted excercise I usually just go after no more than than 6 Reps is that the best rep range for strength?
@CalisthenicsWeightTraining8 жыл бұрын
Well yeah the lower rep-ranges you work with the closer you work towards your max strength / 1RM, so normally around +85% 1RM = 1-5 reps when focusing on strength specifically.
