Actually Bailey’s (dog’s name) trainer saw LV’s ad, called her & told her, “You can’t do that! You can’t sell a service dog!! You need to bring him back!!” (There was also some conversation about why she was getting rid of the dog.) She said something about it being Charles’ dog & since he was dead, they didn’t need him…😔😠 So of course being the narcissistic- oh who am I kidding-- the PSYCHOPATH she is, she told the trainer she wasn’t bringing the dog back, that if he wanted the dog, HE needed to come get him. 😡 Thankfully he saw that ad, picked up the dog, & as far as we know, Bailey helps another little boy now & has a great home. Yes, she tortured that sweet boy who had nothing but love & innocence. My heart screams, & no matter what punishment she’s got & deserves, nothing will bring back those sweet babies, Tylee & JJ, nor Tammy, Joe, or Charles. 😢

⁠@@Patsanford220I only started following this case a couple days ago, and this phone call was the first thing I heard, so maybe I’m lacking context, but that’s not what came to my mind when I heard it. It seemed like Melanie didn’t know what was going on or where they were and was upset that she had to cover for them by lying to the police about having them. Lori was saying they were hidden somewhere secret so no one would be able to find them. I recall Lori saying (summed up) that Melanie can’t know where they are for Melanie’s and the kids’ protection. Melanie pressed a few times asking why she couldn’t know, but Lori kept saying it’s safer for her and for the kids. Melanie sounded very suspicious of them and almost sounded like she was trying to accuse them of something without overtly accusing them or making them mad. I dunno, it sounds like she was in deep with them, but it also sounds like she may have been getting suspicious and started pushing back towards the end of everything. I wonder if she could have been the next one to turn into a “zombie” because she wasn’t complying.

Then she knew Lori and Chad were now saying the same things about the children. The first time the cops asked her where JJ was, Melanie Gibb lied for Lori and told them she had had JJ but gave him back and didn’t anymore. Then when it heated up and people in her group started going to jail, she cooperated w law enforcement and made a couple calls to Lori in which she is so obviously recording the call that Lori calls her out on it. Lori even hints in that same call that Melanie was complicit, she made some veiled threat to Melanie on the call. Gibb belongs in prison too I wholeheartedly believe, because everything we KNOW to be fact, that she reluctantly admits to once she’s already caught, points to her being 100% on board with their stupid plan

My theory is that it all got really vivid for Melanie, all these 'Patriarchal Blessings' and 'Sessions with light and dark' + people turning up dead, after she saw Alex with JJ over his shoulder that night- and she realized later that he was possibly already dead... which I don't think hit her until after she told the cops she had JJ and then she talked to David (her BF). Which is when she recorded the call with Chad/Lori and talked to invesigators. Last thing she wanted was to be implicated in murder.

That's how my Mormon mother, and how many of the entire Mormon congregation spoke at my brother's funeral after he succumbed to injuries sustained in a traffic accident. In other words, he is saying "I know" they are no longer alive. I do not know the timing of this statement, but it would be significant if it was given at a time when Tammy and Chad Daybell's son (J.J.?) and Chad Daybell's daughter (Tylee?) were only known to be missing. Edit: After listening to this video many times, I get the idea that the caller (Melanie) does not know where J.J. is located (possibly alive at the time the call was initiated). Furthermore, I can conclude from this video that all concerned know that Tammy is no longer alive at the time this telephone call was initiated. I am not very familiar with the case.
