I enjoyed your words. I'm grateful to keep finding those who have also had such an intense experience with this movie. It's a wonderful club to be in. Mr Perlman's speech resonated too true with me, in particular the "less to offer each time we start with someone new." 💕

This adresses an emotional state that almost everyone can realate to because of a similar experience in their lifes. A very beautiful way of thinking. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I stumbled upon this from the CMBYN subreddit and figured I'd watch it for a few seconds but you ended up keeping my full attention at 3 in the morning. I was very moved and i completely relate and resonate with the experience and message.

Your message and personal anecdote have offered me so much. As a phenomenology enthusiast myself, your thinking perfectly captures and elucidates the core philosophy of CMBYN which at its heart is to come to terms with human states, emotions and conditions irrespective of the restrictions, pressures and obstacles presented by Modern Society. I just watched CMBYN yesterday and as a closeted teenage guy, the experience was so emotionally intense. Elio's world view equates with my world view making it a relatable film and the utopia it presents is beyond desirable that you not only tear down for Elio's Loss but for the Lack of hope that I would find myself in a similar experience. Watching your video today reminded to accept the emotions I am feeling at the moment and to accept the beautiful mystery of love! ❤

You are describing that state of mind I had when watching this randomly but I still can't forget that subtle bond shown in between those two. So short yet so precious. Thankyou for bringing back the memories.

What a beautiful piece. So well curated. Love your heart and your message. It is true, this movie is one that poises for awakening. I am having a similar experience myself now that I have discovered it, so many years after it's been released.

@Serpent Tree Ich empfehle dir ganz dringend das Buch "Find me". Dort treffen wir u.a. Elio und Oliver zwanzig Jahre nach ihrem Kennenlernen wieder. Ein ganz tolles Buch! Danke für deinen tollen Beitrag!

Why doesn't the world not recognize that Armie Hammer is one of the most beautiful men on the planet?????

I think the world is not "allowed" anymore to recognize after his scandal. Btw, it's not just his looks, but his voice... he read the audio book of CMBYN, btw.
