Big AAA developers have figured out what PR, Marketing and Propaganda systems have understood decades ago - that the most effective way to maximise short term profit is to appeal to the lowest common denominator. It’s not only in games that this is noticeable. Streaming services having pumping out quantity over quality for years now as well creating infinite scrolls of content that is all superficial, very ephemeral (appeals the current trend only usually) and where every movie and tv show feels like it’s written by the same people. Mainstream/pop music has been doing this for quite some time now as well.. It was just a matter of time that such approach would absorb AAA game development completely, specially given the profits involved.

Your bullets will just NOT hurt people sometimes, and you will be fighting players MUCH better than you. You can say that this is cope for being bad, but I was winning game after game in solos/duos in wz2, haven't won a single match in wz3. I came really close once, got 2nd place, but the last guy alive broke my plates and killed me with 4 shots from his famas (which he fired after I was halfway through mag-dumping him, i landed 17).
