Blizzard slowly went down the slope first, and for a long time it was still good. But after Morhaime left, it just dropped into the abyss. This is how it is, however, all we can do is move on.

There are some that cling, like Stockholm Syndrome shook them to their core. They will continue to enable Actiblizz and Bethesda until the ship breaks and the company is bought out or merged into Microsoft. Those same "fans" are destroying their own favorite IPs by blindly defending it. I never got the opportunity to get into Blizzard games, and the one option that I could stomach was Diablo 2. StarCraft didn't get Ghost so fuck that for me. Warcraft, specifically the MMO world of the same name, was responsible directly and indirectly for the destruction of well over 12 studios in it's first couple years alone. Fuck that hard. Overwatch I could feel becoming toxic in just 5 games during launch week. Thank God I played it for free. And then Diablo, which stopped being good after 2 and lives in limbo for 4. At this point though, I can't even bring myself to play 2. I don't think Blizzard even deserves my time, and soon enough, my thoughts.

@@DrSmugface Imagine being paid millions of dollars just to sit there and do nothing because of your name while everything you created and worked towards is destroyed in front of your face. Reminds me of when I got a divorce from my wife. EVERYONE hated her so much that I was literally given money to divorce her and all my friends and family came back into my life. Yeah, I loved her but to be fair she was a complete bitch to everyone else and burned every bridge she could and was a horrible mother (and still is). When the divorce happened she left and told me she wanted nothing to do with me or our son and had herself institutionalized where she met some random guy who was in his 60's and about 400 pounds (she was 25) and hooked up with him, then he killed himself and she tried to get back with me. Our son literally cried when he saw her and refused to even hug her and then she left again despite me begging her to stay and nobody heard from her again. It was like my ex-wife was cursed or something, I've never met anyone who caused so much bad luck around her despite her being a good person for the most part. She couldn't even keep a job and was fired from over 6 places within two years near the end of our marriage. Life truly is something else and sometimes I feel like no matter what we do things tend to play out the way they are intended to and we are just along for the ride.
