My suggestion when you see a video like this is to not watch it and just call it out in the comments. It's 2024 guys, there's no need for clickbait and throwing out all common sense. The game is not 300 gigs. It's ALL the current games that equal 300 gigs and they know that. They just want to get your views and waste your time. Don't give it to them.

The absolute worst part for me is not the file size. It's the fact it's ALL ONLINE ONLY. Internet out or servers down? No single player campaign or solo zombies until that's fixed. Internet or servers struggling? Get ready for a laggy and miserable single player campaign or solo zombies experience. What I also find funny is how desperate they are for player retention and sales, yet limit all to internet required. So, if the internet or servers are down or struggling....I'm going to a different game, until it's fixed. They lose me. So many issues, which sucks, because the game actually looks really good and brings back so many things I liked about older games, only for them to screw us and Treyarch (because this is potentially 4 years of hard work down the toilet) with this ONE awful decision. I hope it's eighter changed BEFORE launch (prefer this) or it causes a HUGE shit show day one or week one, that causes it to be changed. Who knows? I can only hope. The game looks great. I hope they change their minds, so they don't screw the game over long term. Edit/PS. I'll take a large file size downloading textures to my system over online only. 100%

You don't have to. Call of Duty now has what is essentially a launcher, called COD HQ. The current 3 cods (including BO6) are launched through this application. I presume this makes it easier to tie the games together for Warzone content, and made it easier to transfer weapons, maps and skins from MWII to MWIII.

I mean, functionally for COD HQ I guess, yeah? But it is ultimately a game that has had 4 years of development (unlike MWIII's 16 months, the shortest development period in cod history). That will have its own campaign, 2 zombies maps on launch and 16 multiplayer maps

The Madden comparison is so strange. In-game stadiums for a game like Madden are nowhere near as detailed, both in regard to substance and texture compared to the average map in any FPS game. MWIII as it stands is 100GB roughly without the campaign. That's for over 100 weapons, well over 30 multiplayer maps at this point all of which have high resolution textures. I am sure it could be compressed a bit better, but this really isn't that strange for the modern Triple A title. BF2042 is over 80GB, Battlefield V is 90GB, Horizon Forbbiden West is 120GB. Modern games with a decent amount of content and high resolution graphics are going to simply take up more space. Hell Cold War was only as big as that when you downloaded the 4K textures, and from memory that was about 80GB or so by itself!

recompiling shaders is not a pc problem its a BLIZZARD PROBLEM. they don't know how to make it run correctly and optimized on pc so that's why cod games since mw2019 have ran like shit and you have to wait 20 mins for the game to do something that it's supposed to do when it's booting up.

ive been telling literally everyone to stop playing or even posting vids about this game. terrible business practices only continue if supported and im tired of lazy terrible parents buying it for their kids. id get it if they addressed the issues theyve been having for decades it would be an entirely different story. last thing i want to do is buy a game that has thousands in dlc and skins just to make warzone 4 and remove all progress and owned content. and if you try to go back and play older games they are genuinely destroyed by cheaters. not just aim bot im talking people using cheats to clear your multiplayer progression despite having prestige's doxxing and more.
