Call of Duty: World at War PC online TDM game played in 2020 on the map Downfall. An over populated server for the size of the map. Again, i tried to play as aggressively as possible to keep it a little more entertaining.

This is my favorite COD. Multiplayer was extremely fun and fluid. No stupid OP crap like today. No gimics. Just fun and the vehicles were great. I bought it again several years ago, but even back then every lobby was ruined by hackers. It's a shame. I often remember the fun times and wish it were possible to play some good multiplayer matches again.

Despite the shit graphics even at the time, the game works so well to really make you feel like you are fighting for the red army or whatever else, it motivated me even harder than KD or anything else, to fight for the glory of this non existent nation and hear the victory jingle. BF1 was also good for that. I would also make classes to only use the weapons for the team I am on. All and all it's just a fat ass vibe, the audio mixing and visual styling is perfect.

On pc if its patched it works no problem, the only problem is there aren't really any normal unmodded servers without insane player counts like 40+. If you're after playing real cod waw i honestly cant recommend it
