Beware! I seen a guy do exactly this and did not disconnect his battery, . The side curtain and dash airbags immediately deployed when he pulled at the yellow clip and the end result cost him over $2000! DO NOT mess with your seat before disconnecting the batter and letting the car sit for at least 20 mins!!

Thanks for the video. I tried to remove my Forester's seat for a camping trip, but the fasten seatbelt light keeps beeping, and I get a light telling me to check my airbag. What can I do about this? Thanks!

Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait twenty minutes before disconnecting air bag plugs.

@@gblan will this change require reset all settings afterward including time and Bluetooth connection?
