In the first few episodes of dragon ball z, goku met his brother radtz for the first time and after which never met him again, relegating him to the same fate as his father bardock and mother gine whom he also never met again. But in part 2 of this feature length movie of dragon ball super gr the whole family of goku is finally back along with some new additions such as raditz' son.

It’s part 2 because it’s kinda complicated This is labelled as DBS GR “the movie” and part 1 was just part 1 to 4 in 1 cut. Part 2 is part 5 to 8 in 1 cut. You are correct when saying this is a recap but I’m pretty sure it brings new people to this channel as the KZbinr stated a few months ago
