The Czech-Slovak version of this show was incredible. The highlight was a dude ending up with a girl because she didn't buzz out in time and was left as the last one. He didn't know and was really happy, carrying her off while her face was just horrified. I've never seen anyone that gobsmacked on TV. Funnily enough, they had one of the more watchable follow up dates.

I mean to be fair, a reason the girls buzz out for facial hair is a better reason than you'd think. Cause they don't want to ask the guy to change their facial hair that they like, just to suit their tastes. Because that's not really a healthy way to start a relationship, by changing your partners appearance from something they like to something you like, even if it doesn't suit them. There's nothing wrong with buzzing out because they're just not your type, but Ray going around to ask them all why, has them scrambling to make their reasoning sound like a big factor when all it is, is they just aren't into the guy and it's nothing personal. This whole show is based of shallow assumptions on both parties, so we can't expect it to be that deep lol. It's like speed dating but without the free structure to ask questions... you just look at them all while Ray caresses your shoulder on the stage uncomfortably

Valid, but there's a simple reason they could give: just say their tastes in style aren't compatible. If the guy comes on with a beard, he evidently likes that beard/wears it normally/feels that's the best way to present himself and if they don't like it, that means their style preferences are different. That's such an easy way to justify buzzing out, but all these women just criticize the beards in such an unnecessarily harsh way and THAT'S the problem. They often react with such disgust or act in a way that prompts Kevin to make funny jokes about them not knowing what facial hair is.

I don't think he's moved back fully. There's a few options; 1) this was filmed over xmas when he was in Ireland 2) he's back for a little while for xyz reasons (they still own the house in Ireland so some countries have laws that a certain amount of months have to be spent in the country in order to maintain citizenship or things like taxes etc. Like for Canada it's 6 months. We have who we call "snow birds" who travel to the south for the winter and stay there for 6 months minus a day 😂) or option 3) he was back for a short visit but either Visa or covid related reasons have delayed his return to Spain. I have no idea which is true, but regardless this video was filmed with Kevin in Ireland, after having shaven his face, which I can't remember if we've seen any videos yet of him shaven while in the Spain house.

0:30 actually he said "Scheit Wijven" Which would be better translated as "Shit Bitches" Although... this is mostly because there is not better english equivalent for the word then Bitches... however it's meaning is not quite the same but the way it is used is similar enough. The Dutch word for Bitch = Teef which can be used in the exact same ways as the english word, so for female dogs or for insults. The word Wijf is similar to the english word Wife, however it is a informal version of the word Vrouw and is also used formally when referring to female animals but in that case it is always used as "Wijfje" or "Vrouwtje" to avoid confusion. These forms should not be used when referring to humans for it will mostly sound belittling *unless* the person you are referring to is actually small in which case you should use the word "Vrouwtje". But this is kind of old-dutch and in most situation will sound somewhat informal depending on the region. Any word ending in -tje or -je are diminutives, practically all nouns in Dutch can become diminutives by putting -je or -tje. Much like words as: Pup/Puppy Dog/Doggy Cat/Kitty (also bruh english feckin choose between C or K how hard can it be in dutch it's just: Kat/Katje, Kitten/Kittentje (yes you can even make baby cats smaller by adding tje.)) This can also be used on people for example you would be able to say Kevin/Kevin-tje.
