How to Fix Missing Camera Issue in iMovie (so you can export)

A few times now, I've come to export my video to KZbin and found that something had gone wrong with the media import process, a camera icon had shown up on some of my media and it was no longer possible to export the file!
I see there are quite a few videos on KZbin for this issue, but since none of the ones I watched contained a short reliable way to fix, I thought I'd show you my workaround method. Hope it helps!

I'm writing to thank you .Having struggled for 2hours plus I remembered Google and straight away came to your channel .Great and now all is fixed .Fortunately it was a one clip that was doing this .Yes the most important . Subscribing just in case of future issues .Oddly enough after twelve years of here have never had issue until certain systems upgraded but in reality were downgraded .Add to that few apple stores have people trained in media .That is from the horses mouth but when you connect with one they are great .Actually my import said complete and to reject my card ....Any how all over now until the next issue ..I made a new library...does this mean all has to follow that or what .. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed message, I really appreciate your time and am glad to have saved you some:) The best way to avoid this from happening in the future is to import from SD card and then eject before even starting to edit the project. This way the import also happens faster as your computer wont be multi-tasking.
