My TDEE will be over 2668 for spring to fall because of cross country, P.E, karate and weight lifting. I cant even eat 1800 without going over my protein goals. We cant really afford all the calories id be eating anyways. Also in 117 pounds. 😂😭

Here's how I did it to explain in the comments. My TDEE is currently at 3,493 calories per day, and in total of 7 days, the total is 24,492. I took a number of how many calories I want to consume within the week 250-500 caloric deficit and subtract it from my 3,493. I picked the max number, which is 2,993 calories per day. Times that number by the week. I chose 5 days, and I got 14,965. Hope this helps.

@AnnaKimJeon Honestly, right now, I'm just focusing on the rest,recovery, and nutrient dense food for the 2 days. I'm eating 6-8 Oz of protein, which is salmon, chicken, or steak. 1/2 cup of brown rice and loading up on veggies, which is broccoli, green beans, asparagus, and brussle sprouts. The hardest part for me is sleeping because I work a lot.

I’m confused about what if you work out & play basketball / run/walk a lot due to having an active lifestyle . How do you know how many calories to eat ? I’m 6’4 and the scale as of yesterday morning says 270 but I have a lot of loose skin as I once weighed 400 lbs. I got down to my skinniest which was 190 but I felt and looked very unhealthy. Now I’m in this gray zone of being skinny fat but buff at the same time . I really need help because I am going in circles on what to do . Please help me !

Use one of the calculators and it will ask you to input your activity level, weight, age etc etc and it will give you your maintenance and then subtract either 250 or 500 from it.

You just need to eat 250-500 calories less than the total TDEE calories. If you do this, you don't need to exercise to decrease your body weight.

You subtract 250-500 calories. So for example my maintenance comes up as 1,800 if I subtract 250 I will be at 1,550 for a day and if I do 500 then I will be able to eat 1,300 calories a day and still lose weight. With 250 it’s more of a relaxed way and you will lose half a pound a week where as 500 is more so a pound a week.

You don't need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight, that just causes yo-yo dieting; you need to treat the root cause of the problem which is insulin resistance. Eat to your maintenance level, reduce carbs to around 100g daily and start intermittent fasting
