Caltrans Introduces New Technology for Traffic Control

Motorists should be alert for a new automated flagging system being tested this year on state highways in three Caltrans districts, including the Sacramento and Sierra regions of District 3. The AutoFlagger is part of Caltrans' strategic plan to explore the use of technology to enhance safety for highway workers and motorists.
