This is really helpful. I'm reading the bible for the first time, and listening to these lessons after reading each chapter is really helping me get a deeper understanding of the bible.

Watching in 2024. So relevant to today. Allowing mosques, Baha’i temple, “dance” festivals to other gods etc etc. I pray for my people & their lack of repentance & willingness to change.

Yup. Allowing people intonour country is one thing, but we should not allow false gods

Great study! It would be nice if Skip would use visual, such maps for us to comprehend this subject better. But thank you for all the hard work you do for the kingdom.

I have a question for Pastor Skip: you mentioned that God gave all the land eastward to Euphrates river to the children of Israel, but they only occupied 1/10 of that. But previously you had said that you disagreed with the half tribe of Manasseh, Reuben and Gad staying on the east side of the Jordan River. It seems like a contradiction. Could you elaborate?

Why did you say there were 13 Judges?
@rimshots_PL10 ай бұрын
I am also a bit confused about it as I am not sure who is the 13th one in the book. Is it Barak (which I'd consider a general rather than judge as it was Deborah's role) or is it - mentioned in some Judges' lists - Abimelech (who if I am correct is not raised by God to be judge like the rest).

I'm just wondering something. I hear a woman speaking at the same time as Pastor Heitzig. Do you have someone translating for Hispanic visitors in real time?

Hello Xylestos, thank you for watching the teachings on KZbin! Not sure which portion of the video you are referring to but we have done Spanish translations in the past and still do given we are located in an area with a high population of Spanish speaking people.

Wow - “everyone did what was right in their own eyes” - sounds like this country. We can probably expect the same treatment from God. I think it’s fair to say that insofar as this nation continues to turn away from God it will continue in a downward spiral. Also a question about 1:3 … Judah and Simeon - the brothers of Joseph and sons of Jacob - are long gone at this point in time aren’t they? So these names are just referring to the tribes?
