I want to be a member of Calvary Church in Albuquerque. Right now I'm homeless living in a women's shelter. I bought an Amtrak ticket to go there on 05/03/2022. I need affordable housing when I get there. I'm also 76 years old. Please pray that God will provide.

Peter's vision was not talking about eating meat. Salvation is not only for the Jews but also the gentles... Also all of that meat was unclean that we should not eat.. Ty

paul is speaking in relative terms. of course, we are ever coming closer to our regeneration. it has been some 6000 years since the fall!!! but expecting the regeneration to come tomorrow encourages and keeps the mind on god.

loving oneself is a problem when one has the wrong concept of loving one self like egoism, egotism, self-agrandizement etc. loving ones'self must be based on how god defines love: willing good and doing good. in god's economy, love is action, not emotion. in the world's economy, love is emotion. that is why it cannot wrap around the world's head how jesus could command "love they enemy."

Pastor, some people doesn't know how to love themselves. They confuse affection with love and need to be accepted to feel love. Looking to fill out their emptiness of their heart with what others think, says, or do.

a dancer’s body: “The great flow of power up and down the freeways, easy and controlled and fast - everywhere this characteristic American mode of moving, a sort of jet age tempo.” The city still finds its way back to that loose-limbed rhythm now and then, but a lot of the time it moves more creakily. Freeway traffic shuffles, lurches, or, as in La La Land, gives up on the idea of going anywhere at all. Standstill traffic is not an occasional malfunction; it’s the logical outcome of the way the city was designed over many decades and at great cost. You’d think a high enough pile of miseries - blown meetings, kids not picked up from school, deliveries unmade, birthday parties missed - would lead to a consensus that the entire metro area needs a mobility upgrade. The wonder is how many years the city grumbled and shrugged, with a New York-style whaddayagonnado?

If we reason just as it is written in Romans 13: 1 it could also mean that Hitler and Mussolini were placed by God. Same thing for Stalin who exterminated millions of dissidents. Perhaps the best translation would be that God does NOT put these rulers, but ALLOWS them to divide the goats (the ones who follow them, the tyrants) from the sheep (the ones who complain or are killed). I would like to have your opinion ... Thanks

Now, “Oppenheimer” director Nolan is calling the film over a decade later “ahead of its time,” especially when capturing a superhero ensemble that Marvel’s “Avengers” made popular years later. “I’ve always believed ‘Watchmen’ was ahead of its time,” Nolan told The Hollywood Reporter. “The idea of a superhero team, which it so brilliantly subverts, wasn’t yet a thing in movies.” stupid not

slavery was not condemned in the word of god. in fact, we are taught we are slaves of god: total dependence, submission, doing what we are purposed to do. it is ungodly slavery, treating the slaves inhumanly that is not prescribed.
