@stonecoldku41614 жыл бұрын
@@roccos9777 I think CDR deserves a little more of the blame for that loss. He had a few more opportunities than Rose did and missed. That and Kansas deserves a hell of a lot of credit for taking advantage of the opportunities that Memphis gave them. Even with Memphis missing Kansas had to convert on the other end for those misses to mean anything. I mean that steal and three pointer by Sherron Collins was huge, Arthur drilling a long two pointer before that, Mario hitting free-throws when they had to have them, Mario's miracle three and then Kansas had to take care of business in OT. So it isn't just on an 18 or 19 year old D Rose.

@@killercr413 That game and its events had nothing to do with Seattle being good, that game was Green bay self destructing multiple times, Seattle didnt rally like you say, several small packers role players botched key moments and ended up being released because of it Tramon Williams told to break out into coverage incase of a fake field goal, instead attempts to tackle the punter who throws a 40 yard td to an offensive lineman(Also got burned on the final td) Brandon Bostick who admitted post game he wasnt supposed to even touch the ball, muffs the onside kick after being told specifically on the sidelines do not touch the ball you are there to block These 2 couldnt follow basic instructions and left the team as a result(one released the other allowed to leave for nothing) and i havent even mentioned how the defense allowed russel wilson to throw the ball 30 yards across the field on the two point conversion Also Rodgers wasnt amazing that game he played terrible, with a tornhamstring which as the game went on more and more became increasingly obvious he wasnt in the game fully, its a miracle they even got the last second field goal, not the mention the packers only scored 6 points in the second half, and credit seattles defense all you want but packer turnovers and Rodgers not being able to move in the pocket are the reason for that No matter how you attempt to paint it Seattle didnt rally or do anything amazing in that game, that game was entirely the packers exploding and failing to execute

@@killercr413 Also amazingly sloppy, both teams essentially tried handing the other the game multiple times, im not even saying this as a packers fan but more as a football fan 7 turnovers is just sloppy, and great comebacks mean you did something extraordinary to win the game, seattle and wilson didnt do anything extraordinary, tramon williams was in poor position and got burned on the final td this isnt a clutch throw its a basic one to an essentially wide open dude williams had no chance of making a play on that ball, the onside kick wasnt clutch Bostick ruined that play because he cant follow basic instructions and the fake field goal well yk, not a great comeback, this was a spectacular collapse, look at all the pivotal moments in this game, apart from the two point conversion none of them are clutch plays, theyre just incredibly bad and 💩 defensive plays

@@shankhicks4561 it’s not even close. You’re delusional if you think any College football team could beat an NFL team. They actually used to have a game between the College All Stars and an NFL team, and they stopped it because since the 1960s (after desegregation) the NFL just annihilated College All Stars and was never even close. Think about how much more intense Pro NFL starters are than the 1960s. If you actually think the Jets would lose you’re ignorant of the talent disparity

One of the more amazing things about that season was that Auburn won the national title after starting the year not even ranked in the top 25. Pretty sure that hasn't happened since.
