There should be a pre-nuptial if not married then or postnuptial if married stating the betrayed or offended party would get 100% of their marital assents, no alimony, custody of the kids if divorce ensued and infidelity was the cause. Not fair? Then don't walk on the fiery coal of betrayal.

it is like any other addiction. It is triggered by something or coerced. The underlying problem can be worked out. Don't give up on people so easily. (And if you are a purist, think about the fact that if he got rid of her, moving into the next relationship would be to someone most likely divorced and therefore used.)
