she's insane but the story managed to allow her to win us over. Not much on the heartstrings, it's more like the devs managed to establish who this characters is and it gained my sympathy. It's about character development and they did a great job on this one. Aside from her, only Changli got me the same way.

Just finished it. I liked it. I felt kuro did a good job for what its worth. I was more into it than a story like Encores. I see everyone rave how great that encors is, just because a little girl cries and cant come to term with her mothers death.. But there was just something special with camellya, that I cant quite describe. But there is a leagues of difference between Encor and Camellya. The way its told and presented. cant seem to find how to word my opinion more. so Ill leave it at that :)

It's subjective. I wouldn't call it perfect. It's ok. Nothing revolutionary in terms of writing. The music and visuals though are close to perfect.

I play since day 1 and Camellya is my favourite character in the game together with Encore so I feel like I have to say this. Outside of Encore's story and the second half of mt Firmament quest, everything else has been boring and forgettable at best or straight up bad. Sadly, I found Camellya's story pretty boring and even though I played it yesterday I already forgot most of it, compared to Encores where I still remember everything. Rover is the biggest issue in this story: everyone have high expectations of them because of their past but now they're just a goofball just going along with what's happening in that moment. They always feel out of place but they're carried by their past, without counting the fact that most of the issues they faced since the beginning has been solved by Abby without Rover even knowing. The story is better every time Rover's not involved or has a marginal role. Now, about Camellya's story (spoilers from other quests): It was too similar to yao's and shorekeeper's quest and didn't really stood out for itself (meet her, help her sove a minor issue which turns out to be about her past, learning about her past self, she's endangered and is about to lose herself, Rover reach out to her, together they defeat the big monster, end.

That's a pretty weird take, not gonna lie. You claim that Camellya's story did everything right, unlike, say, Shorekeeper one, but then proceeded to talk about things that were, in fact, present in both stories, but framing it like it was the case only with Camellya. If anything, you spend less time bonding with Camellya, because for half the quest you're separated. The lack of bonding time with Shorekeeper? The entire questline goes with you learning more about her, and her past relationship with Rover. Were these moments not bonding? All the small talks, like how Shorekeeper talked about tea, or how she started to teach you to play piano, just like how Rover did in the past? No climax? Was the entire segment of saving her not a climax? The finale with "My star" thingy wasn't a climax, where she finally showed genuine feelings, and insecurities? Camellya's story was great, yeah, but you sound biased here, because what you're saying doesn't make a whole lot of sense, honestly.

I think he's just trying to reingratiate himself to the WuWa community that can't take any criticism lately and on his apology sort of arc quite clearly cause yeah lol. He got called out for having less than positive opinions about the game a few weeks ago and seems to have fallen back in line pretty quickly in order to save his channel that probably relies on the Kuro audiences viewership. Pretty soon it's going to be impossible to find any constructive criticism about this game at all at this rate since this games community requires absolute loyalty and constanty developer praising in order to not be ostracized from it.

It's this so obviously lol. The guy isn't even that much of a critic of the game nor have I seen any genshin glazing from him (he's a WuWa CC after all), just he had some criticisms of the game and the community recently, dared to share them and got absolutely dogpiled for it and has been forced to backpedal and fall in line. Again just super obvious stuff. This games community really is the second coming of Genshin's only far far worse in terms of only allowing praise and positive opinions in it's circle.
