Invest in your lenses you will see a dramatic boost in image and video qualtiy and sharpness, prime lenses are great . Love the rig

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the 70d is a crop frame sensor and 5d is a full Fram sensor. That's why it's 3 times more expensive.

Pretty much. The processor is the same in both cameras, but that full sensor costs a pretty penny. Also, if you ask any cine expert, they will all tell you crop sensor is closer to the cine frame crop anyway. Better for video than full sensor, just sucks in low light.

CPM rigs are the best. I'd rather have a cPM rig, but this looks pretty good.

For your slider: Use a rubber band to pull the camera. The band will absorb the jitter in your hands

I love making videos too, but I don't have any good video camera.. :( now I use a S3 for recording footage, but the camera is too bad and it's a lot of motion blur and programs can't resolve 3D data, or can, but with a lot of errors. Anyways, good video as always, Jayz!

an easy thing to do for the slide shots. is to start the shot early and end it late. then you can snip the beginning and end in post.

Very happy with my Black Magic Pocket rig with metabones adapter and some decent nikon lenses :D Cinematography truly is amazing, lighting can really make a difference. GH4 is also pretty awesome, but not really good for my kind of productions.

That camera is more than my macbook pro, gaming rig, and peripherals combined. You would really have to love cinematography to want to buy camera gear like this, which of course is not a bad thing and I would really love to use that camera.

hey how is it possible that both your tablet monitor and the on-cam screen displays image at the same time? I also have a 70D but when I plug either HDMI or USB-A/V cable the on-cam screen turns itself off? I use an Aputure VS1 monitor? Thanks a lot for your reply. Awesome rig!

personally i prefer the Lucas z 7.0987 complete setup...i find the i977o.267ti far more user-friendly interface..the carl zekky7 12.9zoom a lot more intuitive in so far as sliding goes..vroll made easy dude..imho
