I have recently come across your channel and find these to be some of the most instructive still life or fine art videos out there. I find the lighting techniques to be the most helpful. The pace is perfect, the explanations clear and concise without being verbose. And showing how to build the set, the add the lighting step by step.. Brilliant.

I was hoping for a focus stacking tutorial. So I was very happy about this video ! My focus stacking photos turn out to be ok but I was wondering if I was taking too many photos to do the stacking. So, the trunk ( or branch ) is like a benchmark for me. Thank you so much ! Great composition also !

Another super interesting lesson and another superb photo. Thank you. Does Photoshop have a good focus stacking feature or is it better to use other software?
@CameraClubLive4 ай бұрын
Photoshop can be used to perform stacking, but I find Helicon performs better. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for the detailed procedures. I take it the Phase One has replaced your old Canon DSLR?

Yes I traded the Canon gear for a used Phase One XF with 100mp iq3 back.

Turning the focus ring won’t always work if your lens “breathes” a lot
@CameraClubLive5 ай бұрын
If you use good, focus, stacking software, and it will take into account lens breathing. thanks for watching.
