Past 2 years would say otherwise but ok, lions series draw, England and Ireland beating Australia in the June series, SA losing to Italy, Japan and everyone else, Ireland Beating the ABs, England winning 5 straight against Australia, and Australia beating the ABs, and SA getting 1 point loss to the ABs, arguably should have won but ok.. I would say it's the closest it's ever been.

Daniel Pozzo because it is. Football is the most popular sport and as such only private schools really play it.

Rory Canham I disagree, if you look at the level of rugby across the board for the Southern Hemisphere you will see that it generally played at a better level, more jazz etc. It’s the same with super rugby and the premiership - a very different feeling watching the southern hemis teams play!
@DP-cd5wr6 жыл бұрын

English schoolboy rugby isn’t mediocre it gets very intense at some times and your not just playing for a cup your for a team and the thrill of being able to play for school or club is amazing

Tabular Bubble I’ve played top level rugby at schoolboy level in England and have toured to SA one time. I can tell you that even the top schools in England can be beaten by a Half-decent team in the Southern Hemisphere! But I agree, it’s a great experience and is very competitive.
