Cassius Cleaves - #RememberTheName
Cassius plays for Wellington College and Harlequins' u18s side. The 17 year old winger has just finished his second season for his school.
With one of the best steps in the schoolboy game and pace to burn, Cleaves was selected for England u18s before the lockdown started, however there is no doubt that he will pick up from where he left off once this is all over.

I’m kiwi and I cringe when I see that... especially when it comes from blokes who the only thing they’ve tackled is 10 Pints and a Kebab every night. He can only play what’s in front of him. He’ll do great. Raw strength and raw power. 2 things you can’t coach.

Really? I'm kiwi and this boy has great balance and speed off the mark, carries well, great step off both feet. Has X factor on attack, hopefully his defence is as equally strong too as well as solid kicking game as a winger he will need this when teams become more familiar and put him under pressure. One to watch out for in the future for sure.

I moved to NZ from Wales 20 yrs ago and I think it's true that NZ have many prodigious talents. I have coached some great young players, but they seem to fall by the wayside because they find women, alcohol, drugs,a much easier way of life. Obviously the English have a massive player pool to choose from and really should win 6N and RWC every time. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, you know the rest. There are many parallels betwenn my Wales and NZ in that they both punch way above their weight in many sports.

He reminds me a bit of David Fifita (the young Broncos star, not the other one) - although Cassius is not so well conditioned. See what you think - kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3fdZZysqdp_aK8 - footage of early rep football as a teenager. Note also Tanah Boyd at 6 - a name to look out for. Boyd was at Keebra Park State Highschool with Fifita. This is Keebra winning the Gio Cup in 2017 - check the first hit up of the final - next level intensity and super high skill levels throughout. -kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHO5e6eHnK94n5I . Fifita has blossomed nicely and is playing very impressive football, running over 1st graders in NRL last season as a 19 yr old - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5vCaoyYrK-DapY

Yep, lots of his kind of speedsters down South. He looks fantastic with the opposition 'standing off him,' and not a quality line-defence 'chopping him hard'. Very good talent though, but not the eye-holding class of say, Douggie H, or Joe Rok, to name but a very small number, at schoolboy age group. I hope he emerges from this schoolboy level to eventually be World class at Elite senior level. Just my opinion.

How can he be similar to Nehe Milner-Skudder when Nehe has zero black heritage? If anything this kid is more like Anthony Watson/Kyle Sinkler/Jonathan Joseph /Lewis Ludlam.
