Sedbergh School 2018-2019 || The Undefeated Season

Sedbergh School is without a doubt one of the strongest rugby schools in the World. Steeped in heritage, the school has been an ever-present on the rugby circuit.
The school has now gone two seasons unbeaten, with many pundits claiming this is one of the best schools team ever. It is our pleasure to feature them as the first team in our Schools Series.
Thanks to Sedbergh School for providing much of the footage. The 7's and 10's footage was used from England Rugby's KZbin channel. Link is below for this channel.

Lets be honest, their whole team are on sports scholarships (hence why they cant enter champions trophy or natwest cup), and are brought to the school once they are already a top academy player. They spend their school days learning to tie their shoe laces or studying btec business and btec sport. Not really an even playing field for other schools.

It would have been good to see Sedbergh, Wellington or Millfield in 2019 at the 2019 World Schools Festival. Hartpury are more of a rugby academy college than a school. If your school is very good at rugby and you make a video about them playing, you would almost certainly hear about Grey College in the comment section. The reason being is that they produced over 40 Springboks to date and are incredibly hard to beat.
