Cameron Young made his Open Championship debut at The 150th Open from St Andrews. It was a debut to remember for the American.
The 25-year-old was in lead after the opening round and remained at the top end of the leaderboard throughout the tournament.
Going into Championship Sunday Young was tied third with Cameron Smith, four shots behind leaders Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland.
Young was in contention to win his first major title at his sixth major appearance. As the round progressed it became clear that he and Cameron Smith were the two front runners for the Claret Jug.
In an agonising turn of events, Young narrowly missed out on Open glory as Cameron Smith won by a single shot.
This is every shot of Cameron Young's brilliant final round, where he nearly became an Open legend by winning on his debut.
