Couldn’t explain it better! The rockguards on everything more on the oem side, and imo the better option with for example stock ST wheels. Additionally I would say everything that is more like street orientated, would flow better with the rockguards. Your car, wheel, height is perfect for the mud flaps tho, and suits it sooo well!

Thanks for all the great content! You may want to check out the Steeda jack rails to help you when lifting the RS. They run the whole length between the front and rear wheels to protect the plastic and give more surface to jack from. The jack rails work great with a floor jack or something like quick jacks. Hopefully this comment didn't duplicate (my first one had a link that may have auto-removed).

I was hoping you went with the ZL1 Addons rock guards just cuz every other focus ST/RS/SE owner goes with rally armor. Ngl I had some but got rid of them. Nice look with what you’re going with tho

Having a ST for over 80,000 miles now.. I do love it, but I get the same feeling. It isn't as special as the RS but idk if it is worth the jump to get into the same platform essentially. First time buyers getting into the platform, if you can get into an RS it is worth doing over the ST in my opinion. Same thing with wrx vs sti.. gti vs golf R, etc.

What are you threading the tow hook into counter clockwise? Do you have some nut already behind your RS bumper that your threading the bolt into? I have a Focus SE with a tow strap installed but ofc my spacing is different and my grille is too. Mine is installed with high grade nuts/bolts from Lowe's on the crash bar and coming through my front grille. But my bolt's are NOT super long bc my grille and bumper are different from yours.

I think the RockBlockz short mudflaps for st/rs look better than ralleyarmor. Should check them out if your heart isn’t set on either of those!
