Jake is also my favorite Ozzy guitarist. His playing had that swagger that others missed. I love Zakk and Randy too but Jake just had IT with the style and substance. Also the first 2 Badlands albums are masterpieces.

The first lick you showed us from Suicide Solutions is honestly one of the most useful things I've learnt. Once I realised I can move this technique around all the different reoccuring shapes over the fretboard in different keys, adding flat 5s and minor 6s etc. I can't pick all the notes but just using legato alone sounds absolutely badass and has levelled up my playing like crazy, thanks Cam!

Sharron mader sure of that. She screwed over Lee and Bob Daisly out of all royalities and publishing. They wrote all of the songs, melodies and lyrics during their time in the band. They wrote 100% of bark at the Moon and Bob even made demo vocals for ozzy to follow when he recorded. Ozzy had ZERO creativty input in those first 4 albums. Ozzy is an image and a unquie voice..THATS it. Hes not as creative as people seem to think.

Hi, Cam! I completely agreed with you. Jake E. Lee is an unique guitar player and my favourite one as well. Both Inventive and creative musician of our time. Meanwhile, here in the youtube universe, you're the only one guy who nail the Jake's playing and breakdown every little secret behind Jake's wall of sound. Paraphrasing one of the famous Ozzy's song... Thank GOD for the Cam, Thank GoD for the Cam. Nuke ya Nuke ya !!!!! Cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷!

Nothing comes close to the creativity, style and attitude of the first Badlands album and Voodoo Highway is stellar, But I’ve heard a couple of BL fans say Dusk was a stinker. IMO Dusk is at least as good as Voodoo Highway. Every song is great but Sun Red Sun is the standout for me. Healer, The River, The Fire Lasts Forever… actually every track is friggin awesome! I’ve met and spoken with Greg Chaisson a few times he says Dusk was their most personal. Every song had a story behind it, an event or a person. Walking Attitude was specifically about Greg. Even with a small catalog of only 3 albums, Badlands is my all time favorite band, only behind the mighty Zeppelin.
