@@BlueRice I just bought myself a 2019 Civic Si. with 3000 miles. Great car. Good lil engine. Good torque and good mpg. NOT the most exciting engine to drive though. I bought it to be a good all around daily that will last 200k+ miles. If I were going to buy a Civic as a fun car to drive it would probably be a 9th gen. I've never driven a K series engine but I am pretty sure it is more exciting to drive than the L15 turbo.

@@scottgas1299 thats exactly what it is. The new gen civic is a good car. It's faster in straight and on track. Way better for daily - It checked all the list. But its a whole different breed than the old gen civic. Old gen civic has n/a engine that appeal to most car enthusiasts people. The new gen looks - its like I can't say I like it or dislike it. It looks bit over the top, too fancy and a bit too childish.

Awesome race and love the content as always! The s2k has so much rpm to play with it’s easy to keep it in vtec (a range of almost 3k rpm) on rolling starts, but I don’t think your buddy did that here. From a roll in whatever gear it is, his revs need to be at 6k and up. Tbh I’d love to see a re run of this race I’d bet it would be dead even with the s2k driven properly.

S2k’s have very poor air flow characteristics. If you look underneath it’s nothing like 10th gens and it creates poor aerodynamics the quicker you go. Awesome car though. I’ve owned 2, Ap1 and ap2. They LOVE boost. 🐌

How does the steering feel and the suspension/chassis compare between the 2 cars. I own a 10th gen Si and I just LOVE the steering/suspension/chassis feel. The adaptive dampers at this price point … along with how good the suspension/chassis/steering is is really rare. It’s really sublime. But, I was thinking of switching to an s2k, since our family has other cars that can fit the entire family. My I love my Si so much it’s hard for me to let it go. It’s just that good. Thoughts?

The math comes out to actually 1.7 gallons of E85 added to a tank of 91 to make the equivalent of 93 octane pump gas. It is dangerous to the injectors and other components if you overestimate, so I (being a f__king noob) think its better safe than sorry, So I add 1.3-1.5. No reason as to why I add 1.3 some days and 1.5 other days. I just, idk. Thats just what I do

Cameron Hill I meant to say since you still owe money to the bank, it’s considered negative equity. When you buy a car for let’s say $25k, you are considered to have $25k of negative equity. When you have paid $5k of the car, that’s not necessary $5k positive equity, it’s $20k negative equity. My question is, wouldn’t getting a new car put you more in debt since you haven’t payed this one off?

Have you ever thought of getting a crown vic/police interceptor as a project car? They accept mustang parts from that generation and there's tons of potential for a drift or drag build. I'm speaking mostly through my want for one, I just don't have the the garage room for it 😕. In my area they go as low as 1500 for the high mileage ones. I have a 2005 S2000 with basically bolt ons and stock ecu and 2020 type R.. the S2000 is funner to drive.. the type r is faster by far and I haven’t even stepped on her since she only has 250 miles... I know on paper the type t handles better but I’m way more comfortable in the s2k..

9th gen just needs 3in catless plm/full race with a 2.75-3in catback. Leave stock intake system with a drop in K&n filter and factory tune and you’ll walk s2000 easy
