Nice to have a day of easy walking and without rain. Cacabelos is on my list of favourites too. Stayed at the municipal there once and enjoyed it.

So enjoying your walk today. Last year we stayed one night in Cacabelos & one in Villa Franca as a sort of rest/slow, couple of days. You reminded me of how many cherries we ate from the little stalls. Enjoy the rest.

Hi--did you have a particular reason you chose Villafranca for a rest day? We're a little intimidated about the walk to O Cebreiro, and wondering if having a day to rest before taking it on might be a good thing. Thanks
