Not having a go at you man, but have you ever tried a Trek? My old man’s a big fan of the Remedy series, he’s had a 2012, 2014 Slash, 2016 Remedy, then a 2020 Remedy. They all rode great but the 2020 rode like a flying carpet.
@carsonpearce59803 жыл бұрын
@@TheLoamCourierMTB most of the reason I don’t love their bikes is just that they are very race oriented, and pretty expensive. I’m not as into the racing, so I’ve been looking for a shorter more playful enduro bike than the slash or remedy, but I’m sure they are great bikes. Its hard to go wrong these days. I have had a trek bike though, the x-caliber was my first bike. I bought it before I knew much about mountain biking and soon discovered that it was not the right bike to ride downhill on, but I still rode it pretty much until it broke down, which was about 4 years. I cant say it wasn’t well made, but it just wasn’t the bike for the kind of riding I was doing, and I don’t want to make that mistake again. I am happy that your dad is enjoying his bikes though.

I once slipped a pedal after gapping into a long stair set at UCSC. It took a while to pick off all of the long strips of skin. Thankfully this was pre T-Mac days.
