Despite of some minor flaws C12 may have, I think it's the best mid range badget option for beginners and for already sim racers. Especially if you get C12 with LC100 pedals, I believe you'll have a great combo for a long time sim racing. As I said before, the blue thumb encoders were made to be used in a certain way. Rotate them with the thumbs and push them with the index fingers. Otherwise you can use some wheel spacers and gain a bit of space in order to push them with your thumbs properly.

I do not have much experience with sim racing wheels outside of my now 2.5 year old t300 gt, so i don't know what a high end wheel feels like, so, at least for me, that would be an interesting comparison between the 2. I know the c12 will probably destroy the t300 rs gt in almost every metric, but i am interested in seeing just by how much will it win
@albertmas37524 ай бұрын
Even the Cammus C5 destroys the T300 in every way. In fact, there is nothing non DD above it. BUT with an inmportant flaw: Everything is Logitech & Thrustmaster compatible (games have specific presets...all that jazz). Cammus is a newcomer and its compatibility list is much shorter, doesn't matter if it's their 15Nm base or C5/C12 wheels (5 and 12Nm respectively), compatibility is exactly the same among all their 3 products.
@nomoneygamer4 ай бұрын
@@albertmas3752 well, there is one metric as a newcomer canmus has not proven itself in, ive seen the t300 work after 5 or even 6 years of use on the internet, by the way, im guessing canmus wheels will be reliable, but we will have to see just how reliable those wheels will be.
@albertmas37524 ай бұрын
@@nomoneygamer Nor have proven it Moza's R12/R9/R5/R3. But you wouldn't say that about Moza. Thrustmaster has the least reliable wheel ever existed (the T248) that most don't last even 1 year. And we're talking about something relatively new, old thrustmaster wheels were horrible. No new product can prove reliability because (obviously) time. But both C5/C12 share a common trait: they have 0 moving parts. The motor turns directly the weel and no moving parts means no parts that may break. They also are famous for their build quality, what they may lack in fancy stuff (as in more expensive wheels) they have excess in quality build. In fact the C5 shifter is the only part than as for today has a few numbers of units broken and to be true, it is inexplicable why they chose such a cheap plastic part in an amazingly made piece of hardware.
