So there were like..... 7 other Camp Bloods produced by David Sterling. No idea how related they are, or if they are at all relevant to the nightmare that is Camp Blood 8. I had searched the background of the writer/director (Dennis Devine) of Camp Blood 8, added that on to the weird seemingly satirical post-credit scene, and assumed this was a "sequel" to a series of movies that didn't exist. My apologies, but also fuck this movie and I'm not sorry.

I can see how the whole Day-for-Night intercut with Night shots scene happened in my head. I bet you the director and AD didn't leave the FX team (and by "team" it could very well be a single make-up artist, trying desperately to do ALL THE THINGS) enough time to prep the gore scene so they decided to shoot everything around it first and by the time they were ready to shoot the gore it was actually night time.

Some people have said this before but you it's hard to make an intentionally good bad movie. Please review the 1981 film Game of Death 2. It is a movie "starring" Bruce Lee that came out years after his death trying to cash in on the success of his final movie, Game of Death. It has some of the most awkward adr'd dialogue and terrible editing I've seen of any low budget 80's martial arts film, because a whole bunch of the movie uses recycled footage from old Bruce Lee movies coupled with obvious stand-ins to try to make it look like Bruce is in the movie. The plot, acting and set design all get progressively more over the top and ridiculous as well, since the movie tries several times to do the "this thing goes straight to the top" plot twist in an attempt to raise the stakes, each time being dumber than the last. Excellent movie, I'm sure you guys will love it.

If they were making an intentionally bad movie, they should've called attention to the traffic noises in the broken car scene. Like, have them go on and on and on, hammering in the point of how far away from help there are and how there aren't any other roads nearby... and then have them all pause and look at each other with worry, as the only sound is the noise of the traffic in the background.
