As another piece of the puzzle of this "movie's" creation from a former table-top player, there's more than one link to Vampire: The Masquerade here. When the black book falls to the ground and starts its stop-motion gag, the first page of it reads Kindred in Blood. Kindred, outside of being a little-used colloquialism for vampires is the name of an offshoot of the Vampire: The Masquerade line of table-top games. I actually still have my hardback sourcebook/rulebook for Kindred of the Ebony Kingdom on my bookshelf from when I used to play almost 15 years ago. 🤣

You know, you could probably cut every single one of these indy, 90's/early 2000's vampire movies into one movie and no one would be able to tell the difference. They all use the same filming style, the same music (There's always some band that sounds like Evanescence in there, either that or ALL bands in there are Evanescence wannabes.), they all have the same attempt to be overly poetic dialog.. etc... They're all so damn similar, that a single cut would make this one movie that no one would be able to tell that it was cut together from multiple movies.

If this was filmed in Arizona, there is no evidence to it. But it could be New Mexico since Arizona is pretty hostile to any production that is not Pureflix nonsense. If it was, I would say it’s Tucson because we do have an old west town and a lot of unincorporated area where they could have easily shot the outdoors stuff. The only clue I have that it isn't real life is because most of these movies are written by perverts who never seems to have gotten over their phallic phase.
