Hi Marg & Steve, what a wonderful way to send out 2023 with good friends, play and food. Loved the second part and that rock looked stratigically placed. 1.5 m3 would look like 8 metric tonne (Sandstone, solid weighs 2.323 gram per cubic centimeter or 2323 kilogram per cubic meter, i.e. it's density is equal to 2 323 kg/m³). On another note we have really big gum trees at home one is at least 1.2 m in diametre and google says 1 cm equals 1 year so it must be about 120 years old. Similarly a 50 cm diametre gum tree would be approx 50 years old. Sorry for the triva leason but thought I would share that anyway. Keep the videos comming, so wonderful you capture so much beautiful content. JBG

Hahaha JBG, don’t quite know how to respond to this. The rock did look strategically placed and if you look to the left of it, you’ll see many other boulders which have fallen. Love capturing our adventures. Next video will be up at 5pm on Friday. See you then!

That was amazing … glad it’s you and you’re sharing as I doubt I could cope on those wild narrow trails and what a reward at the end!!

Hot, awkward and challenging, we do it again all for the adventure. Only regret was not having footage of me scrambling under fallen trees - such a sight! 🤣 How cool was the Punchbowl waterfall! Cheers Marg

Great video. We lived right near there, recognised the road straight away. Can believe that boulder is still there (Like 3-4years now)! Which totally messes up the drive when you have to reverse out in convoy lol
@gibbosroadtripadventures5 ай бұрын
That would be a challenge in a convoy. How lucky are you to live near there, so many awesome spots to explore and camp. Cheers Marg

Cheers gibbos,the falls and punchbowl were really worth it. I'm not sure if I would like the road in but at least it will keep the tourists out. Great adventure Guys love the Camp ground's as well. Well done

Thanks Ray, we went the long hard way to find punchbowl falls but in the end it added to the adventure. Appreciate you leaving us a message again and watching, we have another video airing next Friday which I hope you’ll tube into. Cheers Marg & Steve 😊

Love your work! I’m surprised you don’t have more followers, especially with Mumma Gibbo’s cooking segments! Btw, a car detailer might be able to easily (and cheaply!) pop the dent out of that plastic bumper. Did something similar recently in our 200 series, on the strip below the doors-thanks to one of those 30 cm pine log poles that Parks Victoria like to put in their camp sites (can’t see the bloody things!)-but it wasn’t quite as neat as yours seemed to be, i.e., our elongated scar popped out better than I expected, but still needs to be replaced. Happy travels…

That's lovely Warren, thank you, I'm thrilled that we actually have some followers. I really love it when people like yourself take the time to say hello, as it's nice to hear from likeminded people who enjoy our adventures and/or getting outdoors too. I feel your pain about the pine log poles, how frustrating that must have been, very easily done by many I'm sure. Steve will eventually get around to seeing someone about our ding, all part of the fun right, we do love to give ourselves the odd offroad challenge! 😳 Thanks for watching, much appreciated, and safe & happy travels to you as well. Cheers Marg
