Bigger is better when it comes to hot tenting. The onewind penumbra hammock hot tent checks all the boxes. being 14 feet tall 8 feet wide and almost 6 feet tall, it offers an excellent shelter for battling those cold winter camps. The Penumbra comes with all the needed accessories guy lines, stakes, and adjustable tensioners, and stove jack. To set up on a ridge line as I have you need to provide your own cordage.The quality and craftsmanship is all there with this hottent and being able to hammock camp all winter long is amazing. It's important to note that to ensure your saftey and to hot tent correctly make sure your sleep system is rated for the temps you expect to see at a minimum.

Another great use for the Penumber hot tent is the it opens up in to a huge fly with a stove jack , I have used it in the fly mode this fall with my wood stove , it was double the space .

Git yerself the tarp poles they sell on their websight fer yer end side tieouts it will eliminate sum of yer guylines,and open up yer inside side layout better...

This would be a nice contender for the One Tigris, only slightly smaller. But the questions is: is it as rain proof as the one tigris is? Because in some places in the world it doesn't snow in winter, but it is wet, cold and very rainy

I did take this out for a weekendtrip before shooting the review and admittedly it didn't snow alot on me but it did collect and melt throughout the night and I had zero leaks 👍 the seams are really well done and the material is impregnated with water proofing I have no doubts will do a follow up after a few more nights out in it
