To seperate the wheat, roll it in between your palms, drop it into the container, shake it, and then just blow into it. The heavier seeds will stay whilst the pods will fly up and out in all directions. Less work that way. Besides, you are still the coolest kid in the mud.

A WARNING TO ALL! I was inspired by Alfie's exploits. I went camping & discovered a glorious local spot packed with fungi and other yummy nibbles. I foraged away & filled my backpack up with Mother Nature's treats. HOWEVER! On my way back to the campsite I was arrested & charged with theft from what the police officer called "a supermarket". I explained to the officer that I was simply "foraging for food". Nevertheless, he was having none of it. I was fined £400 & received a 3 month suspended sentence. Alfie makes this camping & foraging look like fun, but beware, as it come at a cost! I discovered this the hard way.
@thedr008 жыл бұрын
Thats ridiculous. Did you go to court and if so, what was the charge? It is illegal in the UK to pick wild flowers, so perhaps they used that as the basis for the charge. If you're foraging on private property then you must also have the permission of the land-owner, and anything you pick is the property of the land-owner. Having said all this, that copper is a prick, most just slap a warning and let you go. But the UK is a fucked up country right now. Sorry for your hassles.

Great video. What I like about your channel is that you seem to be very skilled in both this survival awesomeness and video editing. How many of you guys are there doing these videos? There must be at least a group working on the research alone, then another group as a filming crew and then the editing team. I'm guessing around 20 people are doing these videos because they are far beyond television quality. Absolutely love them and they are obviously insanely educational. Cheers!

We get vids less often now, but god damn, its satisfying when almost an hour long vid appears in my sub box. I clenched my butthole in joy.
@jktomas10 жыл бұрын
AlfieAesthetics I'd say a variety is best. Having almost an hour of total epicness to watch is sweet, but there are times when you only check your subscriptions for something short to watch and when you see a video this long you just ignore it till later. But that later sometimes never comes because you just forget. Your videos are heavy on information, so it's better to watch them in small doses to digest them better. I'd say short videos (like the ones about finding north) are the best. A lot of short videos instead of one big are also better for the popularity of the channel since more people might be interested to watch them and even rewatch them later. That all said, I'm having the best sunday evening right now watching feature film length masterpiece about eating mushrooms and whatnot.
@Marovex9310 жыл бұрын
