Hey mate, just wanted to let you know that everything I know about surviving in the outdoors today is 5% just getting out there and learning the hard way and 95% because of watching your videos and putting them into practice. I've practiced most of this during my year of travel in the Indonesian rainforests and volcanoes and it has been fantastic. Changed a few things here and there but credit goes to your brilliant way of explaining things and easy to understand advice. Now I'm in Perth, Australia and would like to learn a little more about how to fiddle my way through the bush here as conditions are quite different to that of Indonesia and also the UK. Any advice?

bit of a tip.... if you can't / can't be arsed to buy some fatwood you can make some by heating blocks of wood and wax OUTSIDE for half an hour or so until the wood blackens on the outside. this stuff works just like normall fatwood and has a nice smell. (please do this outside, failure to do outside may result in kitchen shrouded in smoke and accidental ignition of wax nearly causing a house fire)
