Thanks for the video. Clamping the cable on the inside of the arm as you describe places the cable on top of the black body near the spring, is this ok ? Does it need a sheath to rest on the derailleur?

Hope you can answer for the Record derailleur: Just followed the steps setting up chain clearance on the inner chain ring and tightening the cable. It refuses to shift to the larger chain ring- tries but nothing. (Cable tension?) We had it shifting up there once then it wouldn’t shift back down. Not using a cable tensioner since there’s one on the frame.

Is it necessary to the barrel adjuster even if the frame has no built in adjuster? Never had one with record 10.

Very informative, good. I have a Campagnolo Chorus 12-speed mechanical groupset. With the 48 ring I can't get past the middle of the cassette, the chain is rubbing against the top of the front derailleur arm. I want to replace my 48x32 crankset with a Rotor Power2Max 46x30 crankset. Do you think this should work well with my Chorus chain and front derailleur. I wish I could use up to the middle of the cassette again with ring 46. Best regards.

You can trim the derailleur whilst riding to avoid the chain rubbing on the cage! The front shift lever as three clicks in each direction!! If you are in the large front chainring and click the front shift lever once it will move a little to allow you to shift across the rear cassette without the chain rubbing on the cage.

hello, i have a campagnolo record 10speed with 50/34 in front and 13/26 cassette. I heard that the maximum cog on the cassette can be a 29, is this true ? Will i have to change the chain ?

I have Campagnolo Super Record 12 Speed Mechanical Groupset. My front derailleur's spring holding arm broke off about few rides. So I just purchased and replaced it. Then it broke off again. Does anyone having this issue? I want to know whether issue was caused by something I have done or it is a manufacturing defect. If you can share your thought, that would be great. Thank you in advance.
