I just bought the 7100 crankset, it says to use the bb72 but will bb92 work aswell as its €6 difference at the moment and presumably smoother with an extra seal 🤔

You made this easy to understand, can't thank you enough. Not to mention also how easy going you made this. Something's at times can be so unforgiving. These steps are very simple to understand. I can learn from you. Thank you..

Thanks for clearly showing how the tabs are supposed to align when mounting the derailleur! Seems like every other video just totally skips over that part.

This is my last hope, if the tick sound still in there I might consider replacing my chain before considering to change the BB.

Thank you for the excellent explanations. However, I have a question following a problem: I have a shimano 105 FD-R7000 front derailleur, like the one in the video. It's parallel, at the right height, the limits are adjusted, but the chain touches the ends both on the big gear and on the smaller gear. I took it to the repairer, and received it back from the repairer in the same conditions, saying that it was in order. But it's still touching, is that normal?

Thanks for the extremely informative video. I'm riding an Ultegra R8000 11spd Mechanical set-up and thought about "upgrading" my chain to a 12 speed (narrower inner & outer plates). I now know that the "narrower outer plates" of the 12 speed chain causes front derailleur shifting issues to my 11spd R8000 Mechanical (as per video proof shown). *It has been claimed that the 12 speed chains is compatible with an Ultegra 11spd Di2 system. **However, a 12 speed chain isn't compatible with an Ultegra 11spd R8000 Mechanical system- verified!

Creative solution! But maybe problem(?): the GRX lever/caliper holds a BH90 hose. And is the MT410 not set for BH59 hose? How do you handle that?

I'd've used an all thread shaft with washers, nuts, and sockets instead of a hammer. Bearings don't much like hammers. Otherwise, thanks for this, there's very little to help a Mavic wheel owner on KZbin!

I have this same hub on my 2015 Cannondale Synapse. I've been looking for replacement bearings but so far haven't found any place on the web that sells bearings listed for this exact hub. The Mavic website doesn't seem to have these for sale and ebay lists bearings that supposedly fit Mavic wheels but don't specify bearings for the Mavic Aksium Disc Rear Wheel. Do you have a part number or some way of specifying which bearings I should order?? Also when I hold the rear brake and push the bike back and forth under pressure there is a popping sound kind of like spokes might make if rubbing together but I can't find any loose or broken spokes just that weird and rather loud snapping sound. Thank you for your great video by the way!!! One of the best instructional videos I've found, very clear and concise. Excellent job!

ST-R8150 specs say the shifters have only 2 ports actually, not 3? But that should still be enough to implement the wiring you explain?
@newttella104314 күн бұрын
Another excellent explanation! I just want to add with boost spacing AND the use of wide tires (2.6, or more, wide), the top of the chain has to clear the tire. So even if the chainring clears the frame, you may still need to push the chainring outboard for the top section of the chain to clear the tire. This can happen due to short chainstay lengths.
