This video was of great help. The sections also made it very efficient so I didn’t need to necessarily watch all of it. Just the parts I needed. 😊

You just never know. After months of looking for the creak/tick which often happened at the bottom of the right pedal stroke and it not being the BB or chainring bolts or the pedals or seatpost creak, it occured to me that I never checked my cleats. I tightened the screws and voila. No more creak/tick. I feel dumb for not thinking of it earlier but mostly I feel relieved.

Brilliant video. I have an Ultegra 6800 long cage derralieur on mine so a 36 tooth cassette should go on no problem right? Just wind in the b screw a bit more, or at most a slightly longer b screw

Hi. Would an FSA vision Trimax crankset in 24 mm fit the Shimano hollowtech II bottom brackets? Or would you have to get an FSA 6200 BB? Thanks.

Another update. I'm once again installing another rear derailleur and the problem I have is once I adjust the high and low bolts I'm not able to shift to lowest gear without putting the chain on because with the chain off the derailleur cage hits the last 3 lowest cogs. So I need the tension of the chain pulling on the derailleur cage. I already adjusted the b-tension bolt to it's max. It's because almost all Shimano rear derailleur are now shadow+ so they are shorter in length.

If your chain is rubbing against the mech on the high gear (or smallest cog) your chain might be too long and require a link or two removing

Thx for showing how the tools snaps into place inside the cup, not touching the (carbon) frame at all. A serious relieve. 😀

The issue is that various frames and their BB shell might have not precise BB width, so play would be difficult to adjust since the Camgaglono axle is very specifically divided in two halves.

What in gods name are shimano playing at..this design is an abomination. That frame sticker really is a horrible concept! Good video without which i would be lost in a sea of oily cuss words.

Good video, but I have a question. Should the outer plate of the derailleur cage be over the outer chainring when setting the 2 mm gap or is acceptable to set the gap with the cage moved inboard (small chainring position)?

Campagnolo are now selling a 12sp C-Link connector. Looks very similar to the KMC quick link. Just swapped over to one from a Sram 12sp eagle link. Whilst the eagle link does work I always felt it made the chain run a bit noisy. I don't think there is much clearance between the sprockets on the cassette and the chain. Things have quietened down since fitting the narrower Campagnolo C-Link.

Thank you so much. This was very helpful for two reasons. Number one, the little cap with tongue on the shifter cable, and two, the fact that there is no cap inside the shifter for the brake cable.
