I just want to compliment you on your children! This is the result of not shoving phones in their hands to keep them occupied- You end up with kids who can TALK to others, communicate well and THINK for themselves. Even adorable little Henry verbalizes better than many teens (which is sort of sad but true). It's a shame more parents are not like y'all. Thanks for the channel.

The 68 family restaurant has re-opened as the Lumberton general store. The original owners' granddaughter owns it now, I believe. They have a website and serve breakfast and lunch.

With being a kids meal, I’m surprised that they didn’t serve it plain because a lot of kids don’t like condiments and then they can choose some they like without being already served that way. I love bananna cream also. Not difficult to make. Buy a frozen pie crust ,buy vanilla pudding .Layer sliced banannas w the pudding, put reddi whip on top.

We don't make it often due to all of the ingredients our recipe calls for. We use meringue for the topping but sometimes have trouble making it peak just right. I HIGHLY recommend The Reservation Restaurant in Milan, Indiana! They are a family owned establishment. Their fried chicken and steaks are delicious! They also have plenty of homemade pies including Banana Creme! ❤

Thank you so much, SB27! You didn't miss it. They didn't provide us with an itemized receipt. Whenever you're finished with your meal, you walk up to the register and they ring everything up at the register. They did provide us with a receipt after we paid, but it only showed the total and nothing was itemized. It was a little over $100 for everything including appetizer, meal, drinks, and desserts. Unfortunately, we didn't have our cooler with us on this day and our next destination was too far away for the food to keep. We hope that you had a nice weekend.

We stopped a few weeks ago at a general store called Forbus general store. Address is 3902 n York hwy pall mall tn. It was so good. Good southern cooking. I got pinto beans,turnip greens and a hoecake. I would go again if I was up that way. It was amazing.

I had to do a double take when I saw the ham and ribeye's...... the sides are larger than most meat and three places too. I hate to order greens and get a little cup of them, so I order another and it winds up being five bucks or something for another little cup of greens, that's not how people who love greens eat greens.... LoL This place looks legit. Edited to add; collards are my preference but so many restaurants mess up the seasoning by making it a salt bomb or adding weird stuff like cinnamon, or adding vinegar while cooking, it always goes at the end and is better just left to the diner with a bottle of Texas Pete tabasco pepper vinegar at the table. Also if you haven't tried Lawry's seasoned salt on new potatoes you should, good for baked potatoes too.
