I know Big Lake very well. There are several spots that you can get service but not very good service. The back road to Alpine was paved a few years ago. It’s a MARVELOUS bike ride!! And the Bear Wallow restaurant is one of the best with great food! Thanks for the quick visit. My family is headed to Greer in 2 weeks. We’ll visit friends at Big Lake on our way to Alpine. Take good care of those babies!! 🤠👍🏼

I hope you two had a nice ride . I never thought I would be unable to ride but my stroke said different . Hey , I owned 26 motorcycles and the last three were Honda VFR's and I went to Chicago and down to Key West on time . Went to Orlando on to Augusta Georgia then to Gulf Shores back to Tulsa . Did my West Coast trip going through Colorado , New Mexico and Southern California back to Tulsa . My son said it was good to do those trips cause my stroke came a few years later . Now I travel in my mind remembering ( still wonderful ) . Live life Kevin ...I always feel sorry for people who didn't . There's so much to do and when it's over ...its over . PK

Honda makes a nice motorcycle. My stepdad and mom used to ride a Goldwing Trike in a senior motorcycle club up in Ohio. When they moved back here to Florida they sold it because the traffic is horrible here, that bike was a thing to behold.. The first motorcycle I ever rode on was a little Honda 50, I used to burn up the dirt bike trails with that thing when I was about eight years old, haven't ridden a motorcycle in a long time, but anyways your bike sure is a good looking bike.

When I was a kid, my dads best friend had a Honda Goldwing 1000 with all the bells and whistles. He even had a hitch to tow a small trailer. He and his wife, who had a 750 also with a hitch, would take off for a month every summer and just travel all over.

Those flowers outside the loo were Rudibekia, commonly known as Black Eyed Susan because of the centre of the flowers are usually dark no one knows who Susan was but folklore tells us the name derives from a British poem written by John Gay who tells the tale about William who is a sailor and Susan his love, and it's about their farewell to each other before he sails. She boards the ship looking for her sweet William (another flower from the dianthus family of plants) and he hears her voice shouting for him and he finds her and declares his love for her but has to sail away to make his fortune but he will return to her. The name Black-Eyed Susan came from the fact that she was crying and had black circles around her eyes. I have both Sweet William and Black -Eyed Susan growing in my garden here in Yorkshire in the UK. These plants are grown all over the world and are easy to look after and come back year after year. I just love the back story whether it is true or not, flowers make me smile. Love to the Woof Pack 🩷
