This technique would be great for a wood log soap, or a rolled Yule log cake soap!

Definitely! I've thought about both of these... and a stone one too, it'd make an awesome mantle for Christmas soaps with some stockings!!

This is the best fire soap I've seen! I was also shocked that the coffee beans were made from soap as the colours you used were spot on😊

oh WOW!!! the top layer of coffee beans looks *so good* i honestly wondered if it was made with actual beans before watching. the black peeking through gives very nice dimension, and as the background color it really makes the flame POP! the flame colors work so well too, bright and saturated and in just the right shapes and proportions.... the hint of white really adds to it, i wouldnt have thought to put it in myself! as always, great job

This is wicked awesome! But what do you do with the scrapped off material?
@CreamyObsession2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I use it in different ways, depending on what I want to do (or have time for) in the moment. Sometimes, I just put this excess in small, individual cavity molds to give away as samples, other times I pipe flowers and decorations to use on future soaps, or make soap dough, confetti or terrazzo soaps, etc. Everything is always used and never wasted, but this may look different each time. You can see some of these creations made out of excess on my instagram page! instagram.com/creamyobsession
@bridget29622 жыл бұрын
Looks amazing but what about waste
@CreamyObsession2 жыл бұрын
Nothing ever goes to waste. Any scraped excess is either piped into flowers to use on future soaps, shredded or cubed to use in confetti/terrazzo soap, turned into soap clay, put into smaller loaf molds and/or individual cavity molds and then shipped as samples with orders :)

I am in love with your technique but may I ask what do you do with the excess soap from the flame 🔥 just curious 🧐
@CreamyObsession3 жыл бұрын
I do different things with this excess depending on what I feel like doing and/or have time for. With this soap, I simply put it into small, individual cavity molds. It never goes to waste though, ever.
