@@JunkyardFox thanks for the heads up James. You know I'll be there tuning in of course. It's so snowy here in Denver at the moment that your video will probably be my only bit of release from this soggy and slushy weather. Yeah, sure it can be pretty to look at, but I'm very much so done with driving in these sort of conditions. It can get a little frightening once hell freezes over!

James, I am so glad to see your hand healing and you making real use of it. I am praying for your healing my friend. I like to wrap bacon around a stick and rotate it next to the fire like you do with bread, and I still do my eggs in water instead of the coals, but I have done them in coals but my results were crap compared to yours. I was stationed at Ft. Bliss in the mid-80's. Being from Kentucky the desert was like an alien planet. I was told that an hour north was a beautiful forest...sure there is, right...alls I see is rocks and sand! 🤣 But sure enough we took an overnight camping trip to Cloudcroft, omg I was blown away. Stunning area. I met a guy who was injured in Vietnam. He lay in a hospital for a year, getting paid but not spending any money. A buddy told him there was some land for sale in New Mexico so he gave him all his pay to buy land and I forget how many acres he bought, but like hundreds...near Cloudcroft! Can you imagine? He said he sold off a bunch over the years and I'm sure made a fortune. Glad your hand is better.

We keep a big flat rock to the side, put it in the fire and heat it up, slap a steak on it and it's just like a cast iron pan. Stupidly tossed an egg into the fire once to get rid of it...luckily when it exploded it was buried deep or would have scalded the hell out of us.
