What a beautiful little camping spot and all to yourself at this time of year. That's unreal and so cool. Sorry about your fishing rod. I remember my Dad attaching something to his so if it went overboard, it would float. He probably learned that the hard way fishing the rivers and lakes in northern Ontario as a kid.

I almost lost a good rod once. Had some live bait in the water and set my rod down on a bucket. I was tying an artificial lure on another rod. Heard a splash and a fish had pulled my rod off the bucket into the water. It was about 6’ deep at the edge of the water at a rock wall. I tied on a treble hook and was able to find the rod and reel. Loved your adventure. Thanks for sharing with us! 😳👍🇺🇸

You know it’s a great spot when you say “I could stay another night & chill” …I like those kinda spots …I voted for boat & I think w/your boat like you said bring big cooler w/ steaks,chicken,etc. just good camping food..plus can go back out do some fishing if want ..I look forward to that one for sure 🤙🤙🤙
