Can you get us a Light Parade pass too? We just don't have your connections... We'd be forever grateful!@@RandyWiemer

What an amazing day! Looks like so much fun with fantastic community support. You both look incredibly perky at the end, I would be trashed!

Thanks Carol.. it was a bit overload to see so many people you know and try to catch up in one day.. but it was a blast! Put pride on your next CA travel itinerary!!

That’s awesome! I had no idea you could park an RV there to watch the parade. Love this video. 😎👍

Well, we probably were trespassing on a vacant lot, but no 'do not park' or 'do not camp' or 'do not trespass' signs.. so it looked like a camping invitation to us (and several others!) Happy Pride!

Looks like you parked in the right place, your Mercedes looks right at home next to the Newmar Ventana, and looked like some nice cars in the lot as well, including a Tesla Model 3. Obviously great front-row seats, what a great parade! My first pride parade was the 20th anniversary of Stonewall parade in NYC in 1989, and I feel encouraged to see all the positive changes since then… for example, in 1989 the police were harassing us, not marching in the parade, and people would have lost their jobs if high school marching bands had participated. However, if memory serves, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were there at NYC Pride in 1989, so the good things remain the same 😉

It's really great to see that things HAVE changed and gotten much better. The Palm Springs High School Band is always a crowd favorite and the crowd goes wild.. but the middle school gay-straight alliances (kids with their parents) always gets the crowd going. The Newmar is friends or ours that we planned the 'camp out' with... and alot of the attendees at our RV's were campers we met along our summer travels that were visiting Palm Springs! Hope you guys are both doing well!!

@@JamesandPaulsRVAdventures that’s so great, all the friends you have made through your travels. Wish we could have joined you for the parade! And yes, I noticed the middle school GSA, that’s such an amazing thing for me, when I was in middle school the school administration and teachers clearly believed it was their mission and duty to stamp out any traces of homosexuality in any students.

It's great to see how much has changed in our lifetime, but sad that we have to keep our guard up for our advances to be taken away. You guys should come out to Palm Springs for pride next year!!! I'm sure you have some great travels planned!!!

That wasn't Natalie Merchant.....

Corect! It was Leigh Nash, from the band 'six pence none the richer' that joined the band as their lead vocalist. They also performed her hit 'Kiss Me"
