Camping in an EV is much better than camping in a tent that’s for sure!

Not having to set up a tent is a blessing...plus heat or air con changes the game as well! It's kind of like glamping.

Jasper looks like an incredible place to visit. The diversity in nature is amazing. Will need to visit one day and perhaps camp in an EV.

Jasper is really beautiful and worthwhile to visit. And now with fast charging infrastructure right in town, it makes it easier to explore in an EV.

Man that looks amazing! Makes me kinda feel bad about ordering the new model 3 and not opting for the Y

The Model 3 is a great car, so don't worry about it! You can still go camping if you want and have plenty of room to store all your things.

@@LeftCoastEV I will definetly have to try that out! :)

Once you do let me know how you liked it. It’s like glamping for us, beats staying out in a tent, Tesla camping is much better. If you want to elevate your experience you can invest in a Model 3 mattress that covers the whole trunk area as well as window shades. You can find both easily on Google.

It would be nice if hotels had better charging for all the EVs . How would you compare the Tesla to your KIA ? Might be a good episode.

I try to choose hotels with EV charging, but in this town they only have two and they were fully booked. I also hope that one day more hotels will invest in Level 2 charging. If they do, EV drivers like myself would choose to stay there. Thanks for the idea, might do a comparison in the future.

every coffee is better than starbucks. love tim horton's.

Not sure why people love Starbucks so much...way too expensive and tastes terrible.

why would you need to keep the temperature anywhere near 21C??? wouldn't 15C or less be comfortable enough with blankets/sleeping bags?
@LeftCoastEV Жыл бұрын
My wife and son get cold easily so they like to keep the heat up. If it were up to me, I would leave the fans on and set the temperature to around 18 and be comfortable in a sleeping bag. But this also shows that even with heat on you lose about 1% of battery capacity per hour, which is amazing. I will have to try the same thing in the middle of summer with A/C on and see if there is a difference in consumption.

imagine when you can sleep in the back with the heat on and your car drives you to the next beautiful place...@@LeftCoastEV
