To find your leak, with the boat on the trailer and bung in, start filling it up from the inside. Then you’ll see if its the bung, transducer etc. Could also be your engine transom bolts, or worst case a weld seem or other hull fault. Another good vid 👍🏻

Good setup in the boat mate. I dislike the biminis 'cos they get in the way of fishing, but they are a great shelter, just what you needed on this trip. Like you said, nothing better than chugging up a narrow river with a beer in your hand, bliss. Don't want to be a smart arse, but booee is american and boy is proper. (for bouy) Or were you talking about a fender. The leak, Steve Crop's suggestion (fill the boat with water - not full) works, done it meself. Anyway, top trip Pete. On ya

Hey Pete. Geez you remind of a mate of mine who passed away a few years ago... you could be his clone. Anyhow this vid's a year old now,... so did you find your leak? Get a bilge pump in? I bought a very similar runabout to yours about the same time you were making this vid that also had a leak... was sure it was a bung, but I ended up ripping out the floor and floating the boat to find it. Turned out it was a 15" split in the welded chine half way up it... the water was seeping in, running along a strake to the back, then trickling down so I thought the leak was at the back, had to get the ally welded up then she was all good. OK just thought I'd say hi, might go watch a few more of your later vids. :)

Gday brother! Oh i bet he was a nice bloke. Damn that would of been a headache to see a split like that! Yeh i found mine it was the bung! All that time i spent haha🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@@WACampingAdventures yeah he was a lovely bloke, sadly missed. Glad yours was an easy fix. Keep an eye on them, I had a bung spin itself out an hour or so after I launched once, first I knew was there was water over the floor at the back. Thankfully I had a couple of spares in the boat. If the O rings on them wear they can become loose and fall out.

Use polyurethane sealant, not silicone. Comes in tubes/sausages from Bunnings.

@@WACampingAdventures You only sue silicone if the two surfaces are expected to move/vibrate. Well that's the proper use on van/caravan roofs.

Hey mate.. keep up the good work.. something different and real, we can all appreciate. Times are changing, I think WE all sick of the cock review, product review and budget build.. I THINK times will be changing and viewers will be after more real content you are providing... e.g. no sponser crap

Great video but I wish when people are doing things like this they would tell you were they are & how to get there. We would all like to go to places like this so some info on getting there would be good. I have just bought a 4.8 Quintrex 60 hp 4 stroke & would love to do the Murry river. Keep up the good work BILL
