Wow! What an awesome and informative video! Many, many thanks! We’ve never been to RMNP and knew nothing about where to go or how to start. You answered all those questions and more in one video!

Very good video and good tips. I am planning a RV trip to Colorado from Ohio. I have the registration process for 19 different campgrounds going on now with various dates of when my date opens up. It can be quite the juggling process. I would add that it is good to have 2-3 sites in mind, monitor those sites a few days before you can book, evolve your backup plan as needed. Sometimes that site you want gets booked 6 days before it opens up for your date. Have a backup plan and modify it days before you can book. Thanks for your video.

thanks, I want to make a go of it this year, but a few days before I firm up my summer plans. I will be getting a small ' bed on wheels' clamshell. I need to learn compatible sites and do some quick clicks. Want to time this for after Yellowstone

Makes sense! I would do that ASAP though, because things get snatched up quick!

Thank you for this video. I couldn’t decide between Aspenglen and Glacier Basin but with knowing that there’s a shuttle stop at Glacier Basin, I’ll book that one instead. Very helpful video, straightforward, and easy to follow.

Hermit park on hwy 36 is a great place to stay. Just a couple miles east of estes park. Kruger rock is in this park. It is shown on the national geograph map.

Can you stay at a tent sight with a truck camper? Great video!

As long as it's not a walk-in site, you don't run a generator, and your vehicle fits completely on the driveway, you should be ok. But it wouldn't hurt to email or call the campground/park to make sure!

Do you recommend waiting until the last night of your planned trip is available to book? Meaning that the first few days if your trip would have been released days earlier?
@DirtInMyShoesАй бұрын
No, you'll want to reserve exactly when the first day of your trip opens up for reservations!

thanks for the video, but this would be a lot more useful if you did some research and gave out the detailed info (like what size campers allowed, dates camp sites are open, etc)

Are there restaurants close to timber creek? Should we pack and bring all our food?
@DirtInMyShoes Жыл бұрын
You'll have to drive into Grand Lake for food, which is about 20 minutes south of the campground.

When camping for multiple days, are you able to reserve all nights when the first date opens up, or do you need to wait until the last date opens?
