I'm kind of addicted to camping stoves and I just ordered this stove, haha! I like the design of it and of course it's affordable. It would be an excellent value if one could order replacement parts for it. To convert watts to btu, multiply by 3.41. So 4.9 kilowatts equals 16,709 BTU!!!! That's a lot of power for this size of stove! Being that that's the rating for the liquid fuel mode, I am inclined to believe that it's probably close to accurate. Thanks for your review and best wishes from Kansas.

Great review! I have this stove nearly half a year now and it works very well. Used mostly with heat exchanger pots.

It's definitely worth the cash, I got 2 one for my winter kit to go in the truck and the other for my main backpack. Thanks for the comment.

When you lay your butane can on its side, you should make sure the notch is pointing up. The way it was sputtering, I think you may have not had it right.

Could be, will try it next time I am working with butane. Thanks for the comment.

Sorry about the lighting everyone, shot this video before I got my new lighting. Please note, the gas bottle adapters I used in the boil tests do not come with the stove. I purchased them years ago. links to the items in this video below, have a great day. here is the amazon link to the stove www.amazon.com/CAMPINGMOON-Portable-Camping-Backpacking-Regulator/dp/B08VN6YKVX/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2GQ7IFHQSAQ3R&dchild=1&keywords=campingmoon+stove&qid=1628312057&sprefix=campingmoon%2Caps%2C216&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFERzRXUUpCT0g5TDkmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA1Njc3MDhVQk9VUEFLRDM4NCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTgzNjc3MkQ4T1dHV09WSlBJTiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= link to the DZO cup www.amazon.com/DZO-Stainless-Camping-Backpacking-Measurement/dp/B07DRPK986/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=DZO+stainless+steel+cup&qid=1628312242&sr=8-1 Link to a Butane adapter www.amazon.com/CAMPINGMOON-Camping-Grill-Adapter-Vertical/dp/B08NSSCD3C?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 Link to a Propane adapter www.amazon.com/CAMPINGMOON-Camping-Grill-Stove-Adapter/dp/B08NV1JW94?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1

The box is labeled in japanese and you are right, most of it is Kanji (and some Hiragana and Katakana). The orange Katakana text (エクストラデルタポッド) under the picture on the box says Extra Delta Pod, whatever the Delta means. Thanks for the review, I just ordered one.

Thanks for the comment. I figured it was Japanese or Chinese. I can only read two languages, english and some Spanish. I'm afraid everything else is a bit much. Hope you enjoy the stove. It snowed here yesterday but much of it melted the next day. When we get some snow that sticks I will be doing an updated video on the stove, outdoors in the woods melting some snow to see how it works. So keep an eye out for it.

Your feeding it straight fluid fuel turning any canister on it's side or upside down. It's spitting because the stove isn't made for inverting and feeding straight liquid fuel, it has no vaporizer tube for that.
@charlesartificer215810 ай бұрын
Actually It comes with an inversion stand called the delta pod. So yes it is made for it. But like alot of Chinese made camp stoves the performance is hit or miss.

How bad does the wind affect it? Awesome review thanks!
@charlesartificer21582 жыл бұрын
sorry for the late reply. In my testing outdoors with the stove I haven't found wind to be to much of an issue. but where I live we don't get to much heavy winds. So it never hurts to have one of the folding metal wind guards if heavy wind is an issue where you live. thanks for the comment.

Thanks for posting, Charles 🙌 by the way, 4.9 kilowatts is 4900 watts, which sounds a bit optimistic. I'm considering this stove for groups of 4-8 people to boil 3-5 liters of water at a time, I wonder if this thing is capable of bringing larger pots to a boil in alpine conditions.

It's funny we have some snow here and im looking at going out and doing just that when my new bush pot arrives and the temps get down. Currently its only low 30 degrees Fahrenheit. So keep an eye out for that video. Thanks for the comment and info.

Hi there. When the stove heats up the copper pipe will it cause the stainless/rubber hose to heat up and be a fire risk?
@charlesartificer21582 жыл бұрын
I have not had a problem like that. I suppose it could happen if you ran it hot for hours on end with no break. But what in the world would you be cooking for that long? I don't think I have ran it more than 30 minutes at one time, no problems. I hope this answers your question.

Winter update?
@charlesartificer2158 Жыл бұрын
It functions about how you would expect. The preheat tube helps out a lot. Just like any other canister stove though if it gets cold enough you have a problem with the gas moving. So keeping the canister warm in extreme cold like cradling it with your bare hands helps. At the end of the day a white gas camping stove is superior to this one in winter for functionality. But this one if has a little bit more Firepower than some of the white gas stoves I've used in the past. I hope this answers your question thanks for the comment and views.

@@charlesartificer2158 for what it's worth, I think you did an great job with the video. There's not many reviews out there about this stove. Juijitsu2000 did one I think but it wasn't as in depth as yours. Good job!
