Thank you for your video and explanations! I live in France, and I will buy a flextrail pump!!! Did you take some food like freeze dried food and snacks?

Hi - no, I didn't take any freeze dried meals. I did buy a couple of packs of noodles and snacks once I got to Chamonix, and topped these up at various points along the route. There are opportunities to re-supply every couple of days. I also had lunch at refuges and restaurants along the route.

Hi, curious what type of tent pegs did you use? Secondly would you recommend a twin wall tent over z single wall tent? Thanks

@@ivanshannon I used aluminium Y beam style pegs. They were fine but a bit soft for the stoney ground. I always prefer a twin wall tent. But it’s personal preference.

@@outandabout- yes, this year I walked hut to hut from late June into July, lots of snow and lack of visibility at the higher cols but never too warm except first day
